17 Ways to Gain Followers on Instagram in 2025

If you are in search of ways to boost your Instagram following in 2025? Well, you’ve landed in the right place!

With many years of experience, I’ll be sharing 17 tried-and-tested ways to get more Instagram followers and the best part is, I will not ask you to buy followers or use bots.

Cause all I believe in is growing your community organically and authentically, so these tips are all about that.

17 Ways to Gain Followers on Instagram1

Let’s start with the most important tip: don’t buy Instagram followers. While it may seem like an easy shortcut, buying followers is against Instagram’s Terms of Use and can actually harm your account in the long run.

Being a digital marketing expert I can confidently say that a web algorithm is smart enough to weed out fake engagement and phoney accounts, so it’s better to focus on growing your audience organically.

It may take some time, but gaining outstanding followers who engage with your content is well worth the wait.

2. Have a Strong Personal Brand Value

If I have to give a tiny name to any Instagram account it is a shop window, and you want to make sure it’s clear to show what you’re selling.

Having a strong personal brand and value proposition is something that converts visitors into followers.

Whether it’s styling tips, inspirational quotes, or cooking content, make sure your niche is clear and consistent. But that doesn’t mean all your content has to be exactly the same.

Concentrate on 3-5 content pillars connected to your area to add variation without compromising your primary value.

3. Create an Aesthetic Instagram Feed

Instagram feeds are like your online portfolio, so don’t you think making a good first impression is important?

A strong Instagram appearance could mean the difference between a visitor choosing to follow or thumping away, with only seconds to introduce yourself and convey your brand personality.

Use an Instagram feed planner like Later’s Visual Planner to create a visual identity that supports your brand’s look and feel.

4. Optimize Your Instagram Bio

It is usually the first touchpoint for new visitors, so make sure it communicates who you are and what you are offering straight away.

5. Write Your Captions for Instagram SEO

With the new update, Instagram now allows users to search using keywords, so writing relevant, descriptive captions using choice keywords can effectively impact your content’s discoverability. Take the time to research which keywords are relevant to your niche and use them in your captions.

6. Discover the Best Hashtags

Hashtags are another best tool for growth on Instagram. Using relevant, targeted hashtags on your posts and stories might help you reach your target audience even if they haven’t previously engaged with you.

Use Later’s Instagram hashtag tool, Hashtag Suggestions, to find inspiration for which hashtags to use but make sure to set your account to the public settings if it’ll be on private you will not get the desired reach.

7. Create a Consistent Instagram Posting Schedule

I can bet over it that consistency is key when it comes to growing on Instagram.

It is a fact that recently analysed over 22 million Instagram feed posts to discover how posting frequency impacts average reach and engagement rates.

Posting more Reels, along with an effective hashtag and keyword strategy, is always the best method to attract new audiences.

8. Find Your Best Time to Post

Posting at the right time can result in a surge in traffic and new followers.

The optimal time to post on Instagram in 2025 is 11 a.m. To find your best time to post, analyze your audience’s behaviour using Instagram Insights or the simple trick is to search for it on Google.😎

9. Make Accessible Content

Accessibility, yes this is important for making sure everyone can engage with your content.

All you need to do is add subtitles or text overlays to video footage, write informative alt text for Instagram images, verbalise visual elements during tales and videos, capitalise each word in Instagram hashtags, and generate mobile-friendly content.

“Push yourself to put that extra effort and time to reach your goals. Keep moving forward with your account until you achieve it”

10. Work With Other Creators & Influencers

I’ll suggest partnering with like-minded influencers and brands (if possible) as a major growth hack.

You’ll benefit from the brand association and gain exposure to a new group of potential fans.

11. Start Creating Instagram Reels

Yes you read it right Instagram Reels are one of the most effective ways to reach new audiences on the app.

Use keywords and hashtags in your Reel captions that accurately describe your video content, and search for trending sound.

Make your Reels concise and engaging to prompt viewers to watch again. Use on-screen text for those who watch without sound and strive for high-quality footage.

12. Optimise Your Instagram Stories Highlights

Optimising story highlights can help you increase brand awareness, attract new followers, and showcase your most valuable Instagram stories to new visitors without letting them disappear.

And here comes the interesting part you can use scheduling tools to plan and share your Stories in advance to make the uploads easy and stress-free.

13. Create Quality Content

Creating share-worthy content is a great way to organically reach new audiences may it be in the form of videos, Inspirational quotes, informative carousel posts, and on-trend memes all are my tried-and-tested formats that can go viral.

14. Lean Into User-generated Content

Encourage people to share UGC to boost brand awareness and grow your following. One thing I’ll suggest is to use polls or surveys to make your followers tag your brand in their posts.

15. Run an Instagram Giveaway

Giveaways are in trend to attract potential followers

If you want to grow your Instagram following quickly, hosting a giveaway is a great idea.

Make sure to set clear entry requirements like tagging a friend, sharing on Stories, and following your account to support your goals.

16. Cross-promote Your Instagram Through Other Channels

I have tried this and this is a super effective way to gain followers fast.

Cross-promoting your account on other platforms like Facebook can help you reach new audiences. Connect your Instagram account to other accounts and encourage viewers to click through to your Instagram profile.

17. Analyze High-performing Content

Monitoring your performance on Instagram is important for understanding what works and what doesn’t.

Use the Instagram Analytics dashboard to track your reach and other metrics that can help you to observe your strength and weakness for future results.

Winding up

By following these tips and strategies, you’ll be well on your way to building an engaged community on Instagram in 2023.

Remember: quality over quantity is always better when it comes to growing your following organically and authentically.

Wish you luck!

Who Unfollowed Me On Instagram?

When I started my Instagram account, I had always been curious to know more about the various terms that look more technical or out of understanding.

Undoubtedly, “how to gain followers or become popular” is one of these. For many people, having a large follower base is seen as a symbol of status and success.

As a result, it’s not surprising that social media enthusiasts who are in a surge of becoming influencers are always on the lookout for new followers or potential responders.

And if you find yourself asking, “Who Isn’t following me back on Instagram,” or you’re wondering about one specific person, you don’t need to think much of it now.

In this blog post, I am going to help you with this question of followers. So, here’s how you will have the best value for your next 10 minutes:

Why Finding Non-Followers is Important

Having a large following on Instagram can be beneficial in many ways. It can help you gain more exposure for your brand or business, increase your social recognition, and even lead to creating a buzz in the sponsorship genre.

However, it’s also important to note that having a large following doesn’t necessarily equate to success.

In fact, having a lot of followers who don’t engage with your content can actually be detrimental to your online presence.

This is why finding those who are not interested in your content and/or may not has a real purpose can bring a growth crisis to social media for you. By identifying those who don’t follow you, you can focus your efforts on engaging with your true audience – the people who are genuinely interested in what you have to offer.

This can lead to more meaningful interactions and ultimately help you grow your following in a more organic way.

How to Find Non-Followers on Instagram

I have found several methods you can use to find non-followers on Instagram which are all effective and accurate.

Here we go with some of the most popular ones

1. Iconosquare

Iconosquare

Using one of the easiest ways for you to find non-followers on Instagram is by using an analytics tool. (May it be in extension or app form)

Talking about this tool, you can save up extra minutes by switching to Iconosquare, which used to be called Statigram, is an awesome tool that helps both regular people and big companies to showcase their products on Instagram and grow.

Iconosquare is a tool that can help you succeed on Instagram by having a look at your non-follower accounts.

Analyzer-Plus-Insta-Followers

A user-friendly platform for iPhone users that makes it easy to track your follower count and gain new followers.

Ultimate profile tracker app! that can easily discover ghost followers, un-followers, secret admirers, and fans.

Whether you’re looking to boost your social media presence or simply stay informed about who’s engaging with your profile, this app has got you covered. So why wait? Download the ultimate profile tracker app today and start taking control of your social media experience!

Check-Followers-Manually

Another method is to check manually Though it takes a bit longer than other tools but saves you a chance of not unfollowing someone who has already given you a follow back. While you do manual unfollowing, starting from the bottom of the list is the most optimal way since the most active accounts shine at the top of the ‘Following’ list.

Also, the accounts that are public and have the least activity should be removed since they result in a negative follower analysis by the Instagram algorithm.

4. Crowdfire

Crowdfire

Crowdfire is another amazing analytical tool that you can use for free on both your web and mobile devices.

It works perfectly on Android and iOS, providing you with insightful analytics for your Instagram accounts. With Crowdfire, you can easily track your followers’ activities and determine their active or inactive status.

Plus, it helps you find out who unfollows you, so you can keep track of your followers and improve your social media game.

Additionally, this tool helps you identify appropriate people for your Instagram account, which opens up new opportunities to attract more followers.

5. Third-Party App to See Unfollowers

Don’t you think dressing your own child is exciting but a thoughtful task at the same time? After becoming a mother I literally enjoy a lot of new things like see him smiling, dressing him for different reasons and most enjoying is when I make him ready for a wedding, a theme event, or more.

Like me, every mother out there has the same feeling and make sure that she only chooses the nicest kids’ wedding dresses, ones that would make her little munchkin appear the best.

With my experience here are some tips for selecting the perfect kid’s wedding outfit for your child. If you want to finish up with the most stunning special occasion outfit for your child.

While twinning with your kid has a kind of trend you can follow and be popular among mates, making your kid look unique and comfy at the same time is important too. Selecting a dress for your child as per the wedding theme and venue will bring the right hues and make it stand in the limelight.

For example, if the wedding is at the beach site, a light and breezy dress like for toddler boy dress clothes for weddings choose shorts with a button-up shirt and a bow whereas for your princess, you can go for a floral print ruffle dress.

Prioritise-the-Comfort

When it comes to Indian weddings, traditional clothing has the completely changed aura to carry. And, who else can do wonders other than kids with their never-ending charm and charisma.

Keeping comfort on top of everything is a concern cum priority for all of us when selecting Indian clothes for kids. It is to choose a dress that your child can wear for long hours without feeling uncomfortable or irritated.

Kids tend to get cranky if their clothing is not comfortable, and you don’t want that on such an important occasion. (It will definitely steal your comfort too 😜)

Accessorising the wedding dress is another art that can add a cuteness to your child’s attire. Find headband or a bow tie for a formal look or add a matching belt or a scarf to the dress.

Or you can try a small black bindi on your little doll ( I love all my childhood pictures in that 🥰)

However, make sure you don’t overdo it. Too many accessories can make the kids’ wedding wear look cluttered.

Last but not least, whenever you are going wedding shopping involve your child in deciding on the attire.

Winding Up Tip:

Choosing your child’s outfit for the big day, while prioritising their comfort and preferences allow the kids to enjoy both the movement of the garments and their own.

Also remember to include a pair of relaxed shorts or perhaps tights when packing for kids during a wedding. Whatever the case, kids are most at ease in their regular clothes, therefore they must always have the choice to switch into them if they start to feel uncomfortable.

Dealing With Picky Eaters: 15 Tips For Healthy Toddler Mealtime

Being a mother, I know that every mother’s dream is a child who eats blissfully and effortlessly. Sadly, this fantasy is a reality for a few.

Your child can be very difficult to deal with when it comes to food, ranging from being obsessed with one flavour and refusing to eat anything else to not eating enough. Trust me, I’ve been through the same and am still coping in some instances. However, we all have to remember as moms that picky eating is a normal part of a child’s development.

Even though it might seem difficult, you can win the battle if you recognize the source of the fuss and find a way to get past it.

All you will need for the journey is a lot of patience, persistence, and a few strategies, and you can help your fussy eater develop healthy eating habits.

Dealing With Picky Eaters1

1. Picky Eating is Just a Phase

Picky eating is a normal developmental phase that most toddlers go through. It’s characterized by a reluctance to try new foods, a preference for certain textures and flavours, and a tendency to eat very small amounts.

Picky eating can be frustrating for parents, but it’s important to remember that it’s a temporary phase and most children outgrow it by the time they reach school age.

2. Why Fussy, be Friendly

Fussy eating is really a bad habit because it will surely make the child deficient and weak at this growing age. The indicators of fussiness can vary from newborn to toddler.

It frequently happens as a result of not receiving enough attention. When eating, babies that feel neglected by their parents may misbehave to seek their parents’ attention.

Playing with your kid during the day can help break this habit of demanding attention at meals or if possible feed your child yourself and talk to them in between.

“You will see that difference while they will shower love in agreeing to your words and may not being picky for a start.”

Dealing With Picky Eaters2

3. Break The Habit Not the Bond

Baby fussiness is not simply caused by feeling abandoned. According to studies, fussy eating is not caused by any one pattern or factor.

Some infants may reject meals out of pure dislike for the flavour. It will take them far later in life to adjust to flavours they do not enjoy.

Others can struggle to eat certain foods because of a health condition. The first step in modifying your baby’s picky eating habits is to determine the cause, and for this, you can make him/her try different foods of similar flavours and try to find the real cause.

4. Forcing Results Fearing

When a baby isn’t eating well, force-feeding is most likely the first instinctive step to make sure they eat and don’t jump onto other meal schedules, and I have done that too.

But through my experience, I can definitely say that this can worsen the problem rather than make it better.

Try to avoid being forced to feed. Try distracting him/her with a favorite toy, or a place  he/she likes sitting more than usual, break the ice by hugging if you’ve been busy since morning and not communicated enough or may be announcing food with something your kid would be excited to eat. These are the ways that will help initially.

Dealing With Picky Eaters3

5. Experiment With Flavours

Baby’s taste buds start developing once they begin eating solid foods, and at this time, it is very normal for kids to be choosy about what they eat.

So don’t be afraid to experiment with different flavours. Prepare healthy meals for your picky eater.

For fresh flavour profiles, try heating and pureeing various fruits and vegetables. Until you are sure your kid is not sensitive to any of them, make a note to avoid combining foods.

6. Be A Role Model

Children learn by example, so it’s important to model healthy eating habits for your child. Make sure you’re eating a variety of healthy foods in front of your child, and try to avoid negative comments about certain foods or restrictive eating behaviours.

Your child is more likely to try new foods if they see you enjoying them as well.

Dealing With Picky Eaters4

7. Check For Infections

As a parent, you need to check if the baby’s refusal to eat is frequently caused by health concerns or not. Because at this age, teething is a common problem in babies younger than 12 months to toddlers aging 3 years that leads to fussy eating.

Check your baby’s lips and throat for infections if they have a difficult time eating. Babies that are ill may behave pickily, which can result in infections.

8. Slow The Pace

It takes time for babies to get used to new flavours. Before introducing another food, give your kid some time to get used to the previous one.

This is significant in terms of health as well. One new food at a time is best for spotting potential allergic responses and you will get time to manage if there are any.

Dealing With Picky Eaters5

9. Keep a Tab on your Diet Too

From my experience, I can ensure you can view solid foods as a supplement to breastfeeding during the first several months and not as a substitute.

Because of this, the first year of a baby’s life is sometimes referred to as the complementary food period.

You should also examine your nutrition if your infant is fussy about his food, because as mothers, we cannot compromise our kids’ health, so they need breastmilk too until they develop better eating habits.

10. Don’t Be Strict. Plan it!

When kids are not eating, many mothers use threats and ultimatums. Being a mother, that is the most guessable thing for kids. They know when you are faking it.

Because it is normal for you to state that you cannot stand up till your meal is finished. However, this can further annoy young brains and they feel more distracted by food. Be strong but not dominating with your baby.

Dealing With Picky Eaters6

11. Let Your Baby Choose

It’s normal human behaviour to dislike the things that are being imposed. Allow your child to select one or two foods when they are hungry.

When given food on demand and of their choice, a baby is less likely to be fussy than when forced to eat.

12. Eating With Your Child

Your toddler may feel like doing a laborious task when fed, and it is tempting you to say, “I’ll eat later after the baby has finished.”

However, eating with your child may inspire him or her to do so as well. Additionally, It also reduces their need for attention.

Dealing With Picky Eaters7

13. Create A Routine. Not the Urgency

They are kids; their brain wiring is by routine and not by all of a sudden instruction. although they may create a sudden need on their own. So, it might not be the most efficient method to feed your toddler to bring a dish in front of them at random times. Most of the time, your infant will ignore the meal and become preoccupied with something else.

Establishing a schedule for mealtimes may help you deal with a picky eater. Your kid will accept solid foods more as he or she becomes familiar with the routine.

14. Portion Size Control

Your toddler’s stomach is small, like the size of your fist. It is crucial to understand that portion sizes will vary between you and your kid.

Fussy eaters frequently push food away because their stomachs can only process a certain amount of food at once. So, feed your kids little by little and make sure that all of their meals are healthy.

Dealing With Picky Eaters8

15. Don’t Worry

You might not be aware of it, but when you are stressed out, your baby also feels the tension.

A fussy eater will typically outgrow this stage and start to like a variety of foods.

There is, therefore, no genuine reason to worry too much. Your infant will relax and be more open to feeding if you are relaxed during mealtimes.

Remember:

Consult your pediatrician if you have questions about your child’s nutrition. They can offer advice and ensure that your child is receiving all the nutrients required for growth and development.

Additionally, keep in mind that toddlers who are picky eaters are typically in natural developmental stages. Try your best to gently lead them in the direction of a nutritious diet with your love and care.
